Ancilla: A Time-Travel Novel (The Tethered Book 1)
by S.K. Makris

This novel featured a fantastic, well-thought-out plot that would have readers flipping pages to find out what would happen next. A fantastic period in history for Game of Thrones lovers. Given how awful that period of history was, the author was explicit and realistic. Due of this, the relationship and love story became even more meaningful and sincere.

The book "Ancilla: A Time-Travel Novel (The Tethered Book 1)" by S.K. Makris, which is set in Ancient Rome, is the subject of our discussion today. From the first page on, the plot held my interest and was quick and interesting. I connected emotionally with each and every one of the characters since they were all unique and believable. The characters have interesting backstories and believable flaws. They quickly drew me into the plot and made it easy for me to care about what would happen to them. The author definitely contributed a much-appreciated gritty quality to the plot by not holding back when it came to the cruelty of the Roman age.

The lead character was fantastic. Love a nice female character that can be sad and powerful as well as exhibit weakness. Smart and strong even when she wasn't. She has a lot of different sides. adore that the narrative was masterfully constructed. This book was impossible to put down. This book is full with intriguingly fresh and unexpected ideas. I was in complete awe of the characters, sobbing, laughing aloud, chewing my nails, and feeling like Nicole's best friend during the entire voyage. It was a great book, and I heartily endorse it! I also absolutely cannot wait for the second book.
